Samsung Galaxy X will be released in December or 2019
Today The Investor announces that Samsung has made some important decisions regarding the Samsung Galaxy X. According to the sources, the South Korean manufacturer seems to have made a decision about the final design, specifications and production plan for the foldable smartphone. The sources report that the flagship presumably has a 7.3 inch OLED display that folds in. An important choice because Samsung has a choice of a folding design or fold-out.
‘As we speak’ Samsung Display seems to test the prototype. The technology giant must ensure that different parts do not get damaged when folded. Of course, you do not want the screen to come off the housing, as was the case with the BlackBerry KEYone at the time.
Samsung Galaxy X during CES 2018
The sources of The Investor went even further. They reported that Samsung will unveil the foldable screen for a select group at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2018) in Las Vegas. These are important customers during a closed event.
The upcoming flagship is probably the most expensive smartphone from Samsung ever. The Samsung Galaxy X is probably the forerunner of the latest generation of smartphones. A generation that was ushered in by the foldable ZTE Axon M and we expect that Samsung will capture the trend in an impressive way.
