Samsung Galaxy Gear S3 Frontier to cost $399 on T-Mobile

Samsung Galaxy Gear S3 Frontier is hands down the most beautiful smartwatch you can buy right now. It is one of those smartwatches which actually look like a watch.

The thing that really differentiates the Gear S3 Frontier from the other smartwatches is, however, its LTE connectivity. It allows you to make calls, send text messages, check your email without depending on your phone. In fact, the Galaxy Gear S3 Frontier is not just a smartwatch, it is a fully working phone. Another cool feature that I like in the Gear S3 Frontier is its rotating bezel. You can use it for easy navigation. It features a 1.3-inch circular display of AMOLED origin.

The built-in GPS allows for easy navigation without the need of a phone. Being a Samsung product it supports the Samsung Pay. The 300 mAh battery with wireless charging should provide enough power to keep the lights on for a whole day. Unlike smartwatches which run Android wear, Samsung Galaxy Gear S3 Frontier runs Samsung’s native built Tizen OS. Despite running the Tizen OS, Samsung Galaxy Gear S3 is compatible with almost every Android phone released recently.

Galaxy Gear S3 to cost $50 more on T-Mobile

Samsung Galaxy Gear S3 Frontier can be purchased directly from Samsung store or other retailers for $349. AT&T is also releasing the smartwatch on November 18. AT&T is going to offer the device for $349 without a contract or $249 with a 2-year contract. T-Mobile on the other will sell the Samsung Galaxy Gear S3 Frontier for $399 which is $50 more than the price asked by Samsung and AT&T. I don’t know why T-Mobile is asking $50 dollars extra for the device, let’s hope they offer something special with the device.
