Huawei has finally announced the reveal date for the Huawei Mate 30 series. Yes, Huawei will unveil the Huawei Mate 30 series on 19 September during a presentation in Munich.
Huawei Mate 30 presentation on September 19
The company has announced the news on social media. A special launch website has also been created. There you can register to receive an email when the presentation starts. Of course, the unveiling can also be followed via a live stream, which will appear on YouTube in due course. The presentation starts on September 19 at 2:00 PM and will probably end at 4:00 PM.
The Huawei Mate 30 promises to be a remarkable smartphone. The smartphone may not be sold with Google services because of a ban imposed by US President Donald Trump. This means that Huawei may not do business with Google, the owner of Android. The Huawei Mate 30 could therefore just be the first phone with HarmonyOS, Huawei’s own system.
Another option is that the new flagship runs on an open-source version of Android. However, this is not a solution for the trade ban with Google, because services such as the Play Store can only be concluded with a license. In that case, users cannot install apps such as Gmail and Google Maps.
Expected Huawei Mate 30 Specifications
We still do not know when the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will the stores. Price tags are also unknown. Both devices have regularly been the subject of rumors in recent months. As a result, we know for certain that the Mate 30 series will be equipped with the new Kirin 990 chip. This processor is faster and more energy-efficient.
Earlier renders showed that the device gets a quadruple-camera, two of which are 40-megapixel sensors. It is likely that the Pro has some advantages over the ‘normal’ Mate 30, such as a larger zoom or higher resolution.
