Huawei has presented a new high-quality tablet: the MatePad Pro 12.6. They are the first tablet to run on its own Harmony OS. Huawei shows a modified tablet interface for the home screen with a taskbar at the bottom.

A new generation of the Huawei MatePad is ready, and it runs on Harmony OS for the first time. At an online launch event of the MatePad Pro 12.6, see Harmony’s new home screen optimized specifically for tablets. At the bottom is a taskbar with all the important apps on the left and the apps that are currently running on the right.
Harmony OS apps are also automatically optimized for the big screen and they also work with the Multi-screen collaboration feature that lets you stream apps from your tablet to a PC. On the other hand, you can also use your tablet as a second screen for your PC.
MatePad Pro With 12.6 inch OLED Display
The MatePad Pro 12.6 has a 12.6-inch OLED screen with a small notch in the top edge. It has a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. The tablet is also equipped with eight speakers optimized by Harman Kardon. On the back, you see a rectangular camera island. There is a 13MP main camera followed by an 8MP wide-angle sensor. There is also a Time of Flight camera (ToF) that takes portrait photos.
The MatePad Pro 12.6comes with the Kirin 9000 as the motor and there is a 10500 mAh battery that should ensure that you should give the 14 hours of use. You can also connect the tablet to the magnetic keyboard cover with a touchpad to work more smoothly.
Those who prefer to get creative with the tablet can use the new M-Pencil from Huawei with the MatePad Pro. What’s new about the pen is that its operation is optimized to edit moving animations on the screen.
