Xiaomi Mi Mix last year created quite a buzz around the world by minimizing the bezels. It made quite an impact on the smartphone industry. It pushed smartphone manufacturers including Apple to cut the useless bezel by quite a big margin. Today every phone manufacturer is releasing phones with least bezels possible.
While Xiaomi might have pushed the industry to reduce the bezels, LG and Samsung introduced a new 18:9 aspect ratio which is also becoming a standard. Apple also introduced one thing this year “a notch” (wink). So, today we have found out some photos of a new phone that goes by the name “Aurora” which some people say is Huawei P11 Plus while others say is Huawei Nova 3 Plus. We support the latter theory as we think the P11 Plus will have a glass build while the device leaked in the picture is built of aluminum and seems like a mid-range affair.
The phone in question has an 18:9 (so-called) full-screen display with a fingerprint scanner on the front thus making up for a slightly taller chin. The top bezels contain a selfie cam a speaker and proximity sensor. On the back of the phone is a dual camera setup with a flash. There is no infrared light which usually comes with the P series phones for focusing in the dark which strengthens our theory that this isn’t P11 Plus at least. The antenna lines run along the top and the bottom of the phone.
On the bottom side of the phone, you will find a USB Type-C charging port, a speaker grill, and a headphone jack. Yes, the headphone jack is there. On the top of the phone are a microphone and an IR blaster which is a common luxury in Huawei phones.
