In all likelihood, the OnePlus 5T will soon be available in a new version, namely Sandstone Black. We know this sand case from the OnePlus One and OnePlus 2 and seems to make its comeback with the latest flagship. Check out the teaser video below.
The OnePlus 5T has been available for several months now. Since then, the device has been selling like hot cakes as the company recently announced. In 2014, they made their debut with the OnePlus One, a pioneering device at the time. It offered great specifications, a beautiful design, and a long battery life at a price point so low it attracted many people. Where you would pay around 500 to 600 euros for the then competitors, you could get yourself a OnePlus One for just 299 Euros offering a great value for money.
Unique: Sandstone Black
As We already mentioned: the OnePlus One was (and is) a beautiful phone. This is not only because of its housing but also because of the material used. The first flagship killer was equipped with Sandstone Black back-cover. This material looks like sand and therefore the device feels different from other devices. Above all, the material provides a good grip. The material was only used in the first and second OnePlus devices. However, this could soon change. The video below suggests that a new device is coming up with, yes, Sandstone Black material. In the video OnePlus allows people on the street to guess about the object in the mysterious box.
New OnePlus 5T version coming up?
Here, terms used by the people were “smooth”, “grippy”, “textured” and even “Feels like the original one” is said. Previously, the possible introduction of a model in ‘soft gold’ color was suggested. Perhaps this color will soon be available, next to the introduction of a Sandstone Black version. It is not officially confirmed that there is a new version of the OnePlus 5T to come. However, everything in the video hints about it. The period in which OnePlus will announce more is not yet known. We also have to see whether the suggested model will come with some updated specs.
There are, after all, two versions of the device in circulation. The entry-level model has 6 GB of memory while the more extensive variant accommodates no less than 8 GB. The corresponding price tags are 499 and 559 euros.
